Oakley & Rex Callicott
Back Next

Oakley and Rex Callicott received their formal education at Keene Industrial Academy. The brothers had been blessed with the talent of acquiring means (a strong family characteristic), and their first business ventures were in cookie factories. Cookie sales were good and businesses sprang up in several states. In later years, business interests encompassed oil and gas production, ranching, banking, etc.

They have long been known for their philanthropy and faithfulness in supporting the Lord’s work. A Christian education at SAC has been made possible for many young people because Oakley and Rex supported college industries, provided student aid, served on the board of Trustees, and wholeheartedly supported the college.
